Development and systems

Custom software, from understanding the problem to a system in operation.

Automation and AI

Processes that start to flow without rework, and models that state what they measure, infer or predict.

Spatial intelligence

Afluxion Retail Flow Intelligence: store movement, measured with the cameras the store already has.

Technology solutions

Technology that flows.

From idea to a system in operation: development, automation and artificial intelligence, with measured data and privacy by design. A company built for more than one solution.

Solutions

One company, several fronts

Afluxion is not a one-product company. We start from a real problem, measure before we promise and deliver in phases, with criteria. The first solution already has a name.

  1. 01

    Development

Web applications, APIs and integrations, with tests before implementation.

  2. 02

    Systems

Custom management and operations systems, from discovery to support.

  3. 03

    Automation

Routines and processes that start to flow without rework, with a record of what was done.

  4. 04

    Artificial intelligence

Computer vision and applied models, always sealed: measured, inferred, predicted or simulated.

Next solutions

Born from the same method

New solutions join the portfolio with a recorded decision and follow the same principles: data before visuals, privacy by default and analytical honesty.

How it works

From recorded video to auditable data

01 / 05

Recorded video

The store exports clips from its DVR or NVR. No new camera, no sensor, no construction work.

02 / 05

Detection and tracking

People become per-camera tracks, classified as customer, employee or unknown. No face, no identity.

03 / 05

Projection onto the floor plan

Each camera is calibrated and positions move from pixels to metres, in the store coordinate system.

04 / 05

Zones and events

Produce, bakery, checkouts: departments become zones, and passages become events with a time window.

05 / 05

Analytics and Digital Twin

Aggregates by hour, day and department feed dashboards, replay and the 3D twin of the store.

What you measure

Indicators with a seal of origin

Every indicator states its time window, analysed population and calculation rule. Below minimum quality it shows as partial.

01 · Counting

Entries and exits

Directional crossings of a virtual line at the designated entrance cameras.

measured

Customers per hour

Sessions classified as customer, in 5, 15 or 60 minute windows.

measured

Peak hour

Window in which flow or occupancy reached the defined level.

measured
02 · Dwell

Dwell by zone

Time between entering and leaving a department, with a minimum-stay rule.

measured

Distribution

Mean, median, p25, p75 and p90, because a mean alone misleads.

measured

Department coverage

Share of sessions that visited each zone.

partial
03 · Circulation

Flow

People per unit of time, by zone and primary camera.

measured

Density

People per usable area, computed on the floor plan, not in pixels.

measured

Bottlenecks

A score combining density, speed and persistence.

inferred
04 · Journey

Frequent routes

Most common zone sequences within a window.

measured

Transitions

Origin → destination matrix between departments.

measured

Cross-camera journeys

Available with multi-camera association; partial until then.

partial
05 · Models

Flow forecast

The model projects flow and density for a future window.

predicted

Anomalies

Deviations from the expected pattern for the day and hour.

inferred

Layout scenarios

Baseline vs scenario on the Digital Twin, always marked as simulation.

simulated
3D Digital Twin

The floor plan gains layers

Dwell, density and routes over the store floor plan, never over people. Tap the points to see a department.

Illustrative data, to demonstrate the interface

Privacy by design

We measure movement, not people

No facial recognition, no representation of faces, no attempt to find out who someone is.

  • People detection, not identities
  • Ephemeral per-session identifiers
  • Contextual classification: customer, employee or unknown
Privacy by design
Pilot

Proof in a real store, with measured criteria

Before scaling: one store, a defined period and objective targets. What is not measured does not make the report.

1store

One pilot store with the existing CCTV, after an approved site survey.

60–90days

Fortnightly checkpoint with the sponsor and a monthly report.

±5%counting target

Counting error compared with manual counts in agreed windows.

3+insights

Documented, acknowledged insights, and at least one decision tested with data.
